The Mooroolbark College Library is located in the centre of the College and provides a hub of activity throughout the day. It offers a stimulating and collaborative learning space for our College community.
The Library, and its staff, embrace the Colleges commitment to the development of a vibrant, dynamic and supportive learning environment for all our students whilst being actively involved in the teaching and learning programs of the College. The library space is zoned to accommodate diverse teaching and learning styles;
- Zone 1. Comfortable reading couches offer students the chance to read in a way that is relaxed, enjoyable and encourages them to discover new novels and knowledge
- Zone 2. Classroom/research area offers students and teachers the opportunity to use the class set of desktops in an environment that is engaging as well as to have easy access to the range of resources available within the library
- Zone 3. Personal study desks offer students the chance to study independently in a quiet area
- Zone 4. Personal red reading area offers individual students the opportunity to be able to read in their own time in a comfortable and relaxed area
- Zone 5. Group private study offers students and teachers the opportunity to be able to work in small groups during study periods, with access to computers and the many resources that the library has to offer
The Mooroolbark College Library is a welcoming, comfortable and stimulating community place. It is a creative and intellectual hub with a variety of spaces for different purposes and learning styles. The library is well organised and provides quality, relevant information in many forms, print and digital with a safe working and study environment. The College Library promotes and encourages reading as a lifetime pursuit.

Wheelers offers access to thousands of eBooks and users can read titles anytime, anywhere. Wheelers is available for mobile devises and computers and can be accessed through the library catalogue on Compass or by visiting the Library Catalogue.
